As hard as it is to sip water without using several redundant pieces of plastic, choose to not take those several redundant pieces of plastic. Stop accepting them so people stop supplying them. Where possible say no to straws, plastic bottles, cups, packets. Dog walks, shopping, eating, flying, they’re all coated in a layer of plastic, unless you take a stand and make wiser choices.

Much ado about DOGS

While best left to fertilize soil, doggy doo-doo is still a no-no in public places. Picking up a perfectly natural biodegradable substance and putting it in impermeable plastic is just not a solution. However companies have come up with a range of creative biodegradable bags. Silly superflous STRAWS

They are handed out with every drink, forced on you in most places, and used to help people sip out of bottles and glasses (do you really need help). They are terribly trashy, equate zero class, and are a complete and utter waste. I hear many weak arguments about hygiene, and I ask would you drink your wine with a straw? Would you drink a whiskey, a martini, a beer, or a coffee with a straw? Exactly! There is no argument, say no to straws! However when you must, if you have a dirty can and no glass, or just absolutely need one, this is a great purchase:
